Schooner Gulch Beach

Inspired by a birthday gift of Eliot Porter's masterful nature photography I combed Schooner Gulch Beach, imagining the keen eye of Porter as I peered down into the richly patterned rock crevices along the water's edge. A magical sequence of stone altars sprang from playing with textured details within this image. See if you can find the source of the following images from the original above!
