KALEIDOSCOPE MANDALAS

Did you ever speak or write a word over and over again, until it loses its original meaning? This project began as a playful meditation. I can I fall deeply into repeating, rotating, mirroring, and transforming a photographic detail with an interesting shape, pattern, contrasting light, or color. Just to see what will come of it. As you can see, this form of play has the potential to create a mandala that is quite magical — well beyond my imagination. The name kaleidoscope is apropos as no two results will ever be the same.
